About Knus

Knus started in 1994 as a simple boathouse on the edge of the Delftse Hout. A spot where walkers, cyclists and families stopped by for a cup of coffee or a treat by the water. It quickly grew into a beloved meeting place thanks to the easy-going vibe and personal hospitality.

In 2000 the current building went up and Knus took on the form we know today. With more space, a large terrace and plenty of options to eat, drink and come together, Knus became the Delft address for both small groups and large parties. Over the years Knus has grown into a household name, but that same homely feel of the old boathouse has always stayed.

Knus is more than a restaurant or a terrace by the water. It's a place where hospitality and easy-going are at the heart of everything. Our guests feel at home right away, whether they come for drinks with friends, a team outing with colleagues or an outdoor wedding.
